Knightmare Frame Rifles

A set of Knightmare Frame rifles from the anime Code Geass.

Code Geass was a big influence in my taste in anime when I started getting into mech anime beyond Gundam so I thought it would be fun to try and recreate the mass production rifles of the Sutherland Knightmare frame but in the end I ended up creating the rifle for the Burai as well given the few modifications needed to turn one in to the other. i also added a small creative addition namely the Britannia royal armouries, garrison and model number markings (to clarify mdl s001 stands for model Sutherland 001 and mdl G002 stands for model Glasgow 002 as burais were jest modified Glasgow units)

Not a lot of advanced techniques needed for this one aside from using Boolean to insert the barrels in the front of the guns body for both the rifle and the anti-armour projectile launcher unit up top. Texturing proved far more problematic as I initially tried to do them in a gunmetal texture but after repeated attempts found that a plastic armour texture style worked far better after looking at more real world fire arms that use the same principles (code geas fire arms are mostly rail/ coil guns as the series takes place in an alternative history with the meta material Sakuradite allowing for a lot of advanced tech to be developed).
